Cellular Characterization Core Facility
Mission Statement
The mission of Cellular Characterization Core (CCC) Facility within the Research Capacity Core of the Border Biomedical Research Center is to provide equitable access to cutting-edge cellular characterization technologies, specialized instrumentation, and expert services. The CCC is dedicated to advancing scientific discovery, elevating institutional research capabilities, and driving interdisciplinary collaboration. By offering hands-on training, expert consultation, experimental design guidance, and data analysis support to students, faculty, and staff, we foster an inclusive research environment that fuels innovation and supports the next generation of scientists.
Facility Hours and Access
Registered users with unrestricted access may use the facility 24/7. Core staff are available during regular working hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
To request access to the Cellular Characterization Core Facility please send email to CellCore@utep.edu including the following information:
- Full name
- UTEP ID number
- UTEP email address
- PI name
- Department
- Position in the lab (Undergraduate student, Graduate student, Postdoc, Faculty, etc.,)
- Core instrument(s) requested
- Brief description of experiment
- Copy (CC) the laboratory PI on the request email
